I shudder whenever ANYONE tries to tell us he/she is writing on behalf of God, and in the First Person, no less!
If the author had actually heard from “God” the first thing “God” would have said is, “I have a Name, YHWH (Yahweh); use it! My Son’s given Hebrew Name is Yeshua. Use it!”
Next He would have said something like, “Come out of your paganism and stop trying to put Me into a box. I gave you my Torah (Divine Instructions in Righteousness), so why have you made up your own “holy days” of Christmas and Easter? Why are you not keeping my SEVENTH DAY Sabbath command? What gives YOU the right to ignore my commands?”
This book is full of the AUTHOR’S ideas about who God is. It’s got NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with our REAL Creator! The author is just another Christian trying to make money off a god he invented. Shame on him!

Very entertaining. Being a true southern girl I enjoyed the setting and truths about life in Mississippi. Some people look for the slightest nit-picking things wrong in a book. I’m not an editor. I overlook the little things and enjoy the book. The characters were very interesting.

It was that time of year again to get the carpets cleaned. I checked with several carpet cleaning companies that use the hot water extraction method and most wanted between $200-$300 to clean the carpets in my house! Being a do-it-myselfer, I decided to purchase a carpet cleaner myself and tackle the job. I did extensive internet research about which cleaner was the best, and this cleaner was consistently ranked the highest. Amazon reviews also held a lot of water for me. It was impossible to read all 1,400+ reviews, but the ones that I did read, sang the praises of this machine. After using it to clean the 10 year old carpets in my home, I am also singing. The people we bought our home from did not properly take care of the carpets, so now I’m playing catch-up. The Steam Vac does a fantastic job! Obviously, the carpets are never going to look like they are brand new, but the improvement has been dramatic. I could not believe the color of the water that was coming out of the dirty water tank. I do have a few hints and tips that will help you make the most of the machine, however. The cleaner that comes with the machine is very concentrated and I found that even two passes over an area (2 wet, 2 dry) left some soap in the carpets. I discovered this when I went back over the carpets a couple of days later using hot water only. If you leave dried detergent on the carpets, you are going to attract a TON of dirt. If I had it to do over again when using the cleaner that came with it, I would probably only use about half. That being said, I still think that one cleaning with detergent should be followed with a few cleanings using hot water only. I was still getting dirty water (and the water that was sucked back up into the tank was a bit sudsy). I plan on going back over the carpets until the water runs clear and there are no suds. This battery seems to perform the same as the official Cannon battery that came with the camera. recharged it several times and it’s great. Length of battery usage is the same, charge time is the same. I’ve had replacement batteries for other Cannon cameras before and I kept going back to the Cannon battery even though they’re more expensive. This one seems fine and no reason to pay the extra $$$.

I’m an avid rider and bought one when it first came out in Sep/Oct 2009. Have ridden through lots of bumps/potholes on my road bike (paved and not-so-well paved roads). The mount and case held up and remained very stable. No jiggle. I don’t use the headphones when riding (that’s just unsafe and crazy stoooopid), so I needed to have the volume loud enough to hear through the speakers. The foam interior covers one of the speakers; with initial use the sound was quite muffled. Cutting out the small piece that was covering that one speaker resulted in an acceptable volume for me. It still kept my phone dry when riding through rain. Have ridden in the (light to moderate) rain with it several times–protected the phone quite well, very dry. Hinge is a bit flimsy but the clasp of the case cover is overall secure (won’t fly open spontaneously unless you crash). I’ve crashed a couple of times with it. The holder remained on the handlebar mount both times. The first time, my iPhone remained within the case. The second crash was at a bit higher speed. The case did open. The iPhone fell out but only had a couple of scratches on it and was still working (got lucky there!). I think that rubber band idea suggested by another reviewer is a good one for extra security. The handlebar mount was a bit loose for my handlebar, but I fixed that by placing a rubber shim cut from an old tube. I was able to tighten the mount which has held well so far. Price is a bit more expensive than other bike mounts for iPhone. Despite these flaws, it’s the most stable and rain-resistant iPhone case/bike mount that I’ve used so far. None of the other cases I’ve found offer as much protection. Would definitely recommend this to everyone.

I am pissed that this card did not come with a case. Come on, SD cases sell for a penny on Ebay, how much money did the manufacturer save by not including a case, less than a penny. But it’s a major inconvenience for me, now I have to buy a case for this card which is a spare and won’t be in the camera. Transcend just lost a customer, I hope it was worth the penny.

As the title says, I am very disappointed with Amazon.com. I routinely shop with confidence at amazon.com knowing that I can trust them to deliver what I order. This was not the case with this purchase.
My daughter recently entered a post graduate editing program at UW and required Microsoft Word, so I bought her Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 via Amazon.com. The product was advertised as a CD-ROM version of the software, however, that is not what I received. A few days later, I received a FedEx envelope from Ruckus Enterprises. The envelope contained a sheet of paper with download instructions for Microsoft Office and a 25-digit Product Code (license). I was disappointed and confused about not receiving the packaged software, but time was of the essence and my daughter needed to edit papers in Word. So, I forwarded her the information and asked her to download, install, and activate the product according to the instructions on the sheet.
Immediate;y there were problems with activation. The product would not activate over the Internet and she had to call Microsoft directly. The product would still not activate and she was allowed 15 uses of the product before it became permanently unusable. To help her out, I made a housecall to see what I could do with the software. I uninstalled and re-installed the software twice and attempted activation three times. All attempts failed and then I noticed something odd–the product’s title on hte header bar said, “Microsoft Word Non-cmmercial version.” The Microsft activation representative said that we may be victims of software piracy and the we should contact the vendor for resolution. I could not find any contact information for ruckus Enterprises, so I contacted Amazon.com directly.
Amazon was nice, but simply directed me to email Ruckus Enterprises and then wait up to three days for an answer. It is now day two and no reply from Ruckus Enterprises. I will give them one more day as instructed by Amaz
