I knew I wanted a Medela, but some of their pumps weigh in at 8 pounds , and I knew I didn’t want anything that NEEDED to employ the complimentary ” fashionable backpack “. When I ascertained the Swing, and read the reviews, I knew it was what I wanted. It is nearly equally compact as hand pumps, but uses the same two phase natural process as the more expensive Medela Pump. It is comfortable to employ, I’ve had no problems with leaking , it looks more efficient and in general I only really like this pump. You can employ double A batteries to powerfulness it, which is enceinte if you are travelling (Airport ? Camping?) The best part though, came about five instant ago when I brought in that the threads on the Swing match the threads on poop Airvent bottles that are the lonesome ones we can get DD to use! ! No more random bottles, and no more pumping in to one container and then pelting into another container to use! .
The Swing Pump is really decent since you can adjust the quantity of suck to your liking. I does not hurt like all the Medical Grade ones I have sought and bought. It is not as noisy as some have painted a picture. I creates the same quantity of noise that any electrical pump pees . And the lonesome ground that milk gets sucked up in the tube is if the white membrane sticks and doesn’t let the milk fall into the bottle (so you have to aid it not stick by manually pulling the flap open a couple of times until the milk menstruates by itself). And that can be a ground why the suck is not equally full likewise (the membrane may be worn out and takes exchanging). I have had to talk with many lactation nurses and I employ Olive Oil on my nipples before I pump indeed that it doesn’t irretate my nipples when pumping (makes it smoother not as rough ). I also massage my white meats as I pump. This is a MAJOR ground why some women can not produce equally much when they pump.
